FTP Access Guide - Broswer FTP

1. From the browser, type in the URL as shown below:

ftp://userid:password@<your-domain-name>
or
ftp://userid@<your-domain-name>

(userid is the FTP administrator userid)
(password is the FTP administrator password)

2. For example, for domain name wmasia.net, user has to key in:

ftp://wmasianet:sde3-dr4t@wm-asia.net

3. After you have successfully login, you can:

• download files by dragging the files out of an ftp window
• upload files by dragging the files into an ftp window (browser)

4. Please note the disadvantages as shown below:

1. Less Security - Password expose
2. Less File Management - Cannot rename and delete files
                                      Only can download and upload files
                                      Cannot executing remote commands
3. Cannot resume the aborted download
